Laughter Yoga Leader Certification Details

This is a sample outline of the two day training. Details are subject to change depending upon the size of the group and experience of the participants. I will survey those enrolled in the training and focus on the items appropriate to the goals of the participants.

Lunch will not be provided, although there will be some healthy gluten free snacks and various drinks available. There will not be time to go out for lunch, so please eat well on Saturday before class and on Sunday bring a lunch with you.

The workshop will take place at my home in north Milwaukie, very close to the Sellwood area of Portland. Directions will be provided once you've enrolled in the training. It is possible to get to the training by Trimet.

There will be materials emailed to you before the in-person training that you must read, watch, listen to prior to the training. Laughter Yoga is fun, but as this is a Leader training you will get out of it what you put into it! Please come prepared! I will give some of the history, health benefits, scientific research and contraindications of Laughter Yoga in the intro audios and videos. The intent is two-fold: 1) to enhance your learning experience so you arrive prepared, knowledgable and ready to ask questions 2) to cover some of the yakkity-yak ahead of time and thus shorten the in-person training a bit so you are not completely worn out!

4:00 – 5.00 A quick description : what is Laughter Yoga? (Teacher
presentation and demonstration then student practice).
5:00 – 6.00 Laughter meditation basics followed by guided relaxation – led
